NogiEigo has been broadcasted for 5 and a half years. It was a long-running program!
The very first regular members are Kawago Hina-san, Kitano Hinako-san, Noujo Ami-san, and Wada Maaya-san.
And then, the following regular members are Saito Yuuri-san, Sato Kaede-san, Shinuchi Mai-san, and Higuchi Hina-san.
Regarding Noujo Ami-san, Kawago Hina-san, and Saito Yuuri-san, currently they already graduated from Nogizaka46. I'm happy that they are now active in various industries, such as becoming actress in stage play, business person, and radio personality to name a few.
Nogizaka46 was already very popular when the program was just started. But it was during the airing of this program when they won the Japan Record Awards and performed in Kouhaku Uta Gassen for the first time! Now they are regular artist on those shows!
I was always seeing how they perform as if I am their parent.
Almost all members of Nogizaka46 had come as guests and learned English in the show.
It would be my honor if what they learned in the program will be useful for their future steps in the overseas.
Somehow, Wada Maaya-san becomes the student that I am teaching for the longest period in my whole life, starting from when she's still in 2nd-year of high school up until now. After 5 years of study, when she finally passed the Eiken Grade 4, I felt like I'm about to cry 😂✨
(Eiken is like Japan's version of English proficiency test)
To all the viewers, staffs, Nogizaka46 members, thank you very much for this 5 and a half years!
And finally, to those who continued on making the show exciting, Suzuki Taku-san, and to Nick who dance, sing, and will do anything for the show, THANK YOU!
