Nice to Meet You (Endou Sakura)
(original blog : http://blog.nogizaka46.com/fourth/?d=20190507 )
Nice to meet you, everyone.
Nice to meet you, everyone.
I am Endou Sakura.
Nogizaka46 4th-gen.
Currently on the 3rd year of High-school, 17 years
old.
It’s a pleasure to get to know you
Finally, 4th-gen Relay Blog is started!
I’m so thrilled!
Since this is my very first blog, I would like to
simply introduce myself.
Name
Endou Sakura (遠藤さくら)
Birthplace/Hometown
Aichi prefecture
Favorite Food
- Mitarashi Dango (note: a kind of dumpling)
- Osenbei
(note: rice crackers)
(In general I love Japanese-style sweets)
Hobby
- Reading
- Half-body bathing (note: in a bath-tub, not sure what the English term is :D)
- Fell asleep while listening to the songs of the artists that I like
(I read a lot of Tsujimura Mizuki-san’s works. For the
artist, I love Little Glee Monster. I always listen to their songs everyday)
That’s about it, I guess.
There are a mountain of things that I want to write
that I am not sure where to start from.
For now, I will write about the recent events.
First, it is about the individual handshake event for
the album release.
I was so nervous since it was my first individual
handshake event. I enjoyed it so much
since I got to talk a lot with those who came and got to wear a very cute
outfit.
I was so happy for all the supporting words that resonate
in my heart from all of you. Even though I’m still very immature, from now on I
will do my best to contribute for Nogizaka46.
Next, it is about [3-nin no Principal] (note: 4th-gen stage-play)
To me “Principal” was a very big wall.
At first, it’s like I couldn’t manage to break out of
my shell.
Whatever I did to climb the wall, I always got troubled everyday.
However, with the counsel I got from other 4th-gen members
and the urge I got from seeing those who performed impressively, I was able to
do my best at the last show and safely reaching the final performance with
everyone.
(note: she used the term Senshuuraku (千秋楽) which is like the last performance of a show that is performed for several times a day. I find it pretty hard to translate this part)
Above all of that, it was a stage that grew me as a
person.
Thank you for all of you who came to see us!
Next is about my photoshoot with Saitou Asuka-san for
the “Shukan” (週刊)
magazine.
I was so nervous at that day. Very nervous! I thought
my heart stops beating.
Even so, the bright atmosphere at the shooting
location and Asuka-san’s kindness helped me to finish it.
I also glad to be given a cute nickname!
Everyone, please have a look into it!
I also want to talk more with Asuka-san.
That would be it, for now!
Team Aichi!
She’s the youngest one, but she looks more mature
compared to me.
Oh right, I got to meet and talk with Satou Kaede-san
who is also from Aichi prefecture.
I’m sooo happy, love them (^^)
Kakehashi Sayaka-chan.
When I am with Sayaka-chan, I cannot stop laughing.
She’s quite a strange one.
But she’s cute (^^)
Did I write too long?
I’ll end it here for today!
Through this blog, I would like you to get to know a lot about me!
Yoroshiku onegaishimasu (note: it felt weird to translate
this literally here, but it’s some kind of “please continue to support me” in
this case)
Tomorrow it will be Kaki Haruka-chan’s turn.
Kakki- I’ll leave it to you!
Endou Sakura
